Flakwaffen-Helferinnen Korps insignia patch WWII German

Arm badge for female personnel of the Luftnachrichten Helferinnen Schaf.  This service consisted of the Flugmeldedienst (air Raid warning system) and the Fernsprechund Fernschreibbetriebsdienst der Luftwaffe (telephone and teletype departments of the Luftwaffe).  Flakwaffen-Helferinnen Korps insignia patch. Worn on the upper right sleeve of the tailored suit jacket, protective suit jacket and overcoat, the Luftwaffe blue-grey shield patch bore a Luftwaffe national emblem superimposed over a downward facing sword on luftwaffe blue wool.
