Feuerloschpolizei Amt Duisdorf WWII German aged armband, Duisdorf was an administrative district in the former district of Bonn. Fire protection police (also fire-fighting police ) was from 1938 to 1945 in the German Reich the official designation for the fire-brigade , as a subordinate to the police public organisation.
The designation Feuerschutzpolizei is not to be confused with the term fire-fighting police , although both belong to the history of the fire-brigade in the time of the national socialism . The designation fire extinguishing police was introduced on 15 December 1933 with the law over the fire extinguishing in Prussia as designation for professional fire-brigades and already in 1938 with the Reich fire extinguishing law by the designation “fire protection police” again replaced.
